Donors Continue to Come to the Aid Post at City Hall

Donors who want to send aid to victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Central Sulawesi continue to arrive at Jakarta City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

Most donors come during the afternoon to night

Based on beritajakarta.id, on the first day, the aid post is opened since Tuesday (10/2) and managed to attract 8 donors with 43 aid packages consisted of clothing, towels, blankets, milk, baby diapers, seven boxes of instant noodles, three packs of biscuits, and cash money by Rp 250,000.

And today, it is noted that 20 donors who sent used clothing, prayer equipment, milk, rice, diapers, instant noodles and biscuits.

72 Capital Response Team Personnel Arrived in Palu

Muhammad Chozin Amirullah, Governor of Stakeholder Management Team said that most donors are from ranging from students, college students, to companies.

"Most donors come during the afternoon to night. Many also give the aid after office hours," he expressed, Wednesday (10/3). 

He explained that the aid post is filled by Jakarta PMI, Jakarta-based Muslim philanthropic organization Dompet Dhuafa, Turun Tangan Foundation, and Youth Power.

"We're open for 24 hours, so for those who want to send aid above 9 PM will be served by the Pamdal. We encourage the widest possible number of Jakartans to contribute in various ways," he stated.
